Join us for the next NWEP meeting that will cover the national upgrade from the suggested 72 hour kit—to having a minimum of 2 WEEKS WORTH OF SUPPLIES TO FUNCTION in an emergency. We will go over various kits and their uses, purposes and contents.
Also, enjoy our guest instructor, Bushcraft Master Todd Saulsbury (as seen at the 2017 NWEP EP Expo), discussing fire-starting and essential knot tying. (Warm weather outdoor classes to follow in coming weeks.)
Finally, we will start to dig into CR after-action revelations, and consider long-term planning and evacuation exercises based upon local area topography, roadways and bridges.
2001 Nisqually M6.8 earthquake roadway damage.
As always, there is no fee, and it is open to the public, friends and family. Bottled water, coffee and tea will be supplied, as well as some snacks. Feel free to bring snacks to share if you wish. Bring note-taking materials!
